The melancholy of autumn:
The foliage, which has changed color, still decorating those trees in its new attire, inspired me before they lose their grip on that where they lived out their lives. By spring at the latest, nothing remains of their former existence. Their last legacy disappears into the depths, so that a new generation can feed on them in spring.
The stienitz sleeps:
I miss the summer and a slight melancholy sets in.

Das Laub, welches farblich gewechselt, im neuen Gewand jene Bäume noch schmücken tut, hat mich inspiriert, bevor sie den Halt an jenem verlieren, wo sie ihr Leben vollbracht. Spätestens im Frühjahr ist von ihrem einstigen Dasein nichts mehr geblieben. Ihr letztes Vermächtnis in der Tiefe verschwindet, eine neue Generation sich im Frühjahr von ihnen nähren kann.
